Houry Gebeshian

Houry has been passionate about gymnastics for over 20 years. She personally navigated the recruiting process, ultimately earning a Division I scholarship to compete for the University of Iowa. During her time as a Hawkeye, Houry was a four year All-Around competitor, while studying athletic training. In 2010 she won the title of Big Ten Conference Champion on the balance beam, and was an NCAA National competitor. After graduation, she continued her gymnastics career at the elite level, competing for the Republic of Armenia. In 2016, Houry made history as the first woman to compete in artistic gymnastics for Armenia at the Olympic Games, where she successfully unveiled her own mount onto the uneven bars, “The Gebeshian”.

Currently Houry works as a surgical physician assistant, but her heart remains in the gym. She co-founded Full Out Recruiting with one goal: to provide a comprehensive recruiting package to aspiring collegiate gymnasts. Her personal experience with this difficult and critical time in your career is unrivaled. Houry’s motto is, “It’s never too late to deliver your dreams”. Full Out Recruiting is here to help you deliver your gymnastics dream!
